Following a multi-day trip with the press aboard, members of the Air Force took inventory of the plane and found several items missing, according to Politico. After alerting the White House Travel Office about the missing pieces, White House Correspondents' Association president and NBC reporter Kelly O'Donnell reportedly sent a curt email to her colleagues telling them to knock it off.

☆ Secret Services ends White House cocaine investigation with no leads

The Secret Service investigation has concluded with no usable forensic or video evidence to identify the individual responsible, three Secret Service officials familiar with the investigation tell NBC News. The Secret Service received results Wednesday from tests conducted by the FBI, "which did not develop latent fingerprints and insufficient DNA was present for investigative comparisons," according to an official statement from the Secret Service released Thursday. "The presence of illegal drugs in the White House is unacceptable and a shameful moment in the White House's history." The grand jury in Georgia was convened earlier this year to assist Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis' investigation into possible 2020 election interference by former President Donald Trump and others. The grand jury wants to question Graham about the circumstances of two phone calls he made to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and his office after the election.

Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett on Thursday denied a request by a Wisconsin taxpayers group to halt the implementation of President Joe Biden’s federal student loan forgiveness program. She did not provide an explanation for rejecting the emergency request, which is not uncommon. WASHINGTON — A Wisconsin organization promoting taxpayers' rights asked the Supreme Court Wednesday to halt implementation of President Joe Biden's student loan forgiveness program, just two days after the administration began accepting online applications for debt relief from borrowers. The Brown County Taxpayers Association filed the request for emergency relief arguing that Biden's program would cost U.S. taxpayers more than $1 trillion and that it circumvents Congress, which controls federal spending. "The blow to the United States Treasury and taxpayers will be staggering — perhaps costing more than one trillion dollars. If this program goes forward as planned on Sunday, then the President will unilaterally spend roughly 4% of the nation’s Gross Domestic Product," the emergency application said. The emergency application was addressed to Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who oversees the 7th Circuit where the group is based.
